וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר יָשַׁ֥ב דָּוִ֖יד בְּבֵית֑וֹ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד אֶל־נָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֗יא הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֤י יוֹשֵׁב֙ בְּבֵ֣ית הָֽאֲרָזִ֔ים וַאֲר֥וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֖ה תַּ֥חַת יְרִיעֽוֹת׃
Ketika Daud sudah tinggal di istananya, berkatalah Daud kepada Natan, sang nabi: “Lihatlah, aku tinggal di istana dari kayu aras, sedangkan tabut perjanjian Yang Mahakekal berada di bawah tenda kain.”
